Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year thanks to Matt and Robyn who were great hosts. The boys went to the Colts/Falcons game. I feel like not as many pics were snapped. Probably because of the three babies in the house and everybody was pretty busy.
You've all met my hippie sister rachel right?

Ode to the bouncer

I remember my own nephew's farwell to the bouncer and while much less used, I think this shows its time to get rid of the bouncer.

Oh and in case you were worrying. I really don't put him in front of the TV much. I thought baby einstein would entertain him but apparently, only until he figured out how to get himself out of the chair.

Happy Halloween

I realize these pictures are all almost the same but I just couldn't resist. They are so cute. Just know that I did hold back and didn't publish all of them! Amazing but true. He was Bamm Bamm from the Flinstones for Halloween. I made it all even with my almost non-existent sewing abilities. It was way fun!

Bama vs. Vols

As you all know, every year the UT/UA game is a particularly sensitive day. This year we were in Tuscaloosa and thanks to my oh so kind parents and sister, Brent and I were able to go cheer for our respective teams while Rachel watched Jackson. It was a blast! Thanks again to everybody! I snapped this to show the orange amidst the crimson. I'm sure Brent wished he was there but unfortunately...
he was here. The only Vol fan in our entire section. He was good about it. He cheered as he should but not in an annoying way. I suppose UT helped keep him in check as well by not over playing too much either.
Can anybody find my parents? They're in there!
The half time show was one thing we could both smile about! Well, truth be told, we kinda grimaced at the trashiness of Alabama majorettes. UT however had an amazing halftime with the circle drill. Did anybody see it. We went to UT's game last week and their home crowd goes crazy for it. It really is quite impressive.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the scoreboard. I'm not sure if I can remember it. oh wait. yea, that's right 41-17!! Roll Tide!!!!

Updates

I love showing off Jackson's cuteness it's just been so hard since school started back. Brent takes the computer everyday and when he gets home he has homework. He's such a computer hog!
Every time Jackson gets in the car seat he looks for the cover. I'm afraid I might have taught him to do that by jostling him around too bad. Look at that face of fright! We like to go outside on a nice afternoon. He loves the looks and sounds of outside. It's way fun. Oh and to anybody with a teething baby these mesh things are great to put frozen fruit in. I don't know what I would do without them.
Sometimes its hard to resist a face like this.
"Where's Jackson? Where's Jackson?"
"There he is!!"

More Tennessee Pictures!

So this is a little bit of what we've been doing since we've been home. Cheri Ebbert, Becca Mccombs and I took a day in Gatlinburg while the husbands took the kids! yeah for us! Jackson's just been hanging 0ut in a box.

He seems to have skipped the crawling face and just went straight to jumping across the room! I think its because of the new shoes I bought him.

More Utah Pictures!

Well we've been home for a while but busy! We had to hit the ground running after we got home cause UT started the next day. With Brent at school all day everyday with the computer it was very hard to find time to update the blog. Finally I get the chance. These pictures are in a very random order because I just kept seeing more I wanted to post.
Brent tilted the stroller to get this shot but obviously Jackson loved it. Cuddle time with great-grandma!
I told them to act natural. This is what I get! I loved it!
Let me just tell you, you shouldn't be taking pictures while somebody is giving a tour! I learned that the hard way. After I snapped this one Rachel in full on Sister Hutchison mode shot me the dirtiest, yet with a subtlety of kind professionalism, look ever!

We didn't have the high chair so brent held him while I shoveled it in. Notice the earrings. Not my usual style but I love them!
Dashing as ever.
Brittany with her two sisters-in-law.
I thought Jackson did a great job with this shot don't you?!

Mr. and Mrs. Travis Barnes

It took me long enough to get the pictures! They got married August 17th in the Salt Lake Temple. She looked absolutely gorgeous as did everybody else but I still don't have any pictures of the wedding party.
This one's my favorite!

Rachel! I mean... Sister Hutchison

Seeing Rachel was one of the best parts of our vacation. I was pacing the doors before we found her. We'd scheduled a tour which I thought it would be the traditional temple square kind but she took us to some of her favorite parts on the square. It was so fun. I almost felt like I was just hanging out with my sister until Brent corrected me every time I called her Rachel. Actually, when he'd say "sister hutchison" in my direction as a reminder I'd think he was talking to me! I haven't been sister hutchison for 2 1/2 years! Brent's parents were with us for the tour.
The first thing she said wasn't directed to me at all. It was "now this is who I've been waiting to see!"
Classic pose. This was also the beginning of the end because she got too frustrated with me and my camera.
She took me to the mission office. They checked their mail but unfortunately didn't find anything. To all of you who are reading this you stil have one month to cheer her up!

Sweet Home

We took a "just because" trip to see my folks in Alabama this weekend. I didn't realize how much I needed it until I got down there. My parents purposefully take every opportunity to spoil us. Jacob was down there as well that weekend and so just added to the treat! We didn't get a whole family shot but I suppose you can just piece it together. Mom got these two matching shirts for the boys. We average about ten attempts before we get one good picture. This was after church when both boys were hungry, fussy and tired and we got a good one on the first try! What luck! Our men in seersucker. Don't they look great!
We all went on the boat on Saturday. I still don't know if its legal or not to take Jackson on the boat. Luckily, alls well that ends well. He didn't get in at all but I think he enjoyed the ride!
Sweet potatoes anyone??

Sitting pretty...i mean...handsome!!

This week we've really been sitting a lot. I like to pile toys all around him so he doesn't have to look up very much which tends to throw him off balance. That being said, I thought the best pictures were from above. Jackson has also loved finally being able to see the whole basket of toys. Amazing! To actually have a selection is great instead of his normal routine which is whichever toy he happens to roll into!
We have also learned the problem with the toy basket. He just can't seem to get close enough!
