The first leg was rough...we don't have air conditioner in my car. my poor pathetic baby but I will say, he wouldn't let me roll down the windows and he wouldn't let go of his 4 blankies one of which is a fleece blanket. i know, it's still child abuse.
It was really nice to stop at my grandma's house in Dothan on the way down though. Jackson hasn't seen her since summer 2007 so I was kinda holding my breath hoping he was in charming mode, and he was. Always makes a mother sigh in relief and just say so casually "he's always like this." 
It's mothers day and I'm so thankful to be with my mom and sister. It's been one of those Sundays full of tears, those of gratitude and struggles. I am grateful for their positive influence in my life.
I'll keep you posted with more of our shananagins later and just leave you with this...

Okay, I had to do a double take of the picture of Jackson with your G'ma. That really could be a picture of Brent at the same age. It looks exactly like him! Give everyone hugs for me. Tell Rachel she needs to come see us! (I hope the tears weren't all sad!)
