Don't even bother going here. You wouldn't be interested. It's not cute monster friends at all. You wouldn't like the bag probably. It's a free giveaway which I'm sure somebody like you wouldn't be interested in at all. I bet you only like really expensive things. Like I said, don't bother wasting your time going here. Because its mine! (now of course you know I'm kidding right?)

Playtime

Jackson's friend Connor came over to play this week (and my friend Emily with their new baby Anne). So the boys are kinda half play and half fighting over toys but its still fun to get together. These two riding toys they kept on switching. I guess the grass is just always greener!

Book Report

Brent and I heard this song on npr last week or so and laughed so hard. It was one of those moments where you can't get out of the car until you finish listening. I didn't know it was charlie brown though. Just thought I'd post it for your pleasure.

Put together day.

So not only did a post those blogs, finish my bag, and clean the house I made these delicious sandwich cookies! It was a very put together day! Come home soon Brent!

Crafty!

So I've mentioned the things recently I've been drooling over at Etsy. I didn't actually make the purse I showed cause I figured I should start with a pattern. Here are the projects I've finished recently. I love both of them even though they're both kinda sloppy.

I'll use this as a big around town bag or a church bag. I really like it though. I did it in like 6 hours over two days so it really wasn't bad at all.

This is just a TV quilt I made out of a box of Brent's old clothes. We've actually laughed a lot at the ugly clothes he used to wear (super light jeans, and ugly stripes).

Welcome to our Home!

Our late home introduction has arrived. For those who don't know we moved into this rental last month (the same day of Brent's grandmother's funeral!) It's a good location for Brent's job and we love it. It's very small which I realize now I love because it means Jacksons always close and so are his shoes, blankie, wipes, diapers, clothes, toys, milk, and every other thing I need for him when I'm in a rush. So I realized the only way I'd get this blog done and it'd ever be cute enough is if Jackson was in every shot so we're showing you his favorite things to do in every room (or whatever I could get him to do.) So come on in!

This is Jackson's room. His toys and books stay in those shelves and his room really stays relatively clean on a good day when he and I are in good moods. ....really not all that often!

This is the extra bedroom/office. Jackson's real favorite thing to do in this room is throwing office supplies everywhere but we didn't stay in long enough to get that picture. This picture makes me slightly sad because all my sewing is put up. It's nice and neat but when its messy and chaotic it means I'm in a project which is fun.

fun times

These are just some fun times in the house. (a post of the house is coming just not yet. i like taking pictures of jackson more than the house. go figure!)

Why do we hurt the things we love? These are two of Jackson's favorite books but he just tears them up. Abby Cadabby has been struggling for a while but I would just retape it. The farm book lost it all in one day!
And yet this one remains in mint condition. For those who don't know Jackson hates this book. We dont know why but as soon as we pick it up to read it to him he slams it shut and throws it. Every time.
