I finished my new apron tonight! Yeah! This pattern was from the Anna Maria Horner book that I got for Christmas. This is a big step for me because it had a lot of firsts for me. First time for me to cut and assemble a pattern all by myself. The first time I've cut bias strips. The first time I've used binding. The first time I've done gathering. It is by no means perfect but I think I'm pleased. Now if I burn Valentine's dinner tomorrow at least I'll know I looked good trying!

I think it is ADORABLE!!!! I love the buttons and the gathering and it has dasises on it which is my favorite!
Well Done! Did you cover the buttons? It looks great. I have to say though, even if you didn't finish your apron you would still look hot on valentines
Gasp! Gorgeous, Natalie! I've never done any of those firsts you mentioned either...you'll have to teach me.
I love it Natalie! It looks great! You will have to help me when I get around to making something more complicated.
Awesome Nat! It looks so good and you are so brave to cover the buttons. Love it, I'm going to make Isabel a little apron and after seeing yours... I might try and make a grown up cool one for me. Thanks for sharing!
